Role: Overheads FP&A Analyst

Core Mandate

• Runs the recurring transactional backbone of overheads – and automates it
• Monthly overheads review across corporate departments
• NP cost forecasts, Latest estimate updates, project / IT accruals, amortizations
• Month end Close overheads tracking, variance analysis, Management Unit anomaly flags
• Cost center operations, payroll reclasses, and accrual support

AI & Productivity Agenda

• Owns the automation backlog – builds, tests, and deploys workflows
• Target: ≥50% manual-effort reduction in 12 months (~157 hrs/mo, nearly 1 FTE)
• Auto-targets: actuals packs, Latest estimate builds, accruals, Month end close variance, anomaly detection
• Reports monthly to senior on hours saved, errors avoided, and next targets

Key signal: The role exists to deliver the work AND own automation – experimentation needs no permission.

Must-Haves

• 4-5 years finance / accounting with a clear automation streak
• Strong Excel: PivotTables, XLOOKUP, dynamic arrays
• Proven experience with AI co-work tools
• Handles high-volume transactional work and Month end close deadlines

Nice-to-Haves

• FMCG / consumer goods finance background
• Prior exposure to General Ledger master-data, accrual booking, or Record-to-Report work

Soft Profile

• Self-starter – fixes repetitive work without being told
• Actively unhappy doing the same manual task twice
• Documents every recurring task as a runbook for handover and audit
