As a Production Engineer at our Lipton factory in Borg El Arab, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient, safe, and high-quality manufacturing of our iconic tea products. You will be part of a dynamic team focused on continuous improvement, sustainability, and operational excellence. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams including Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain to drive performance, reduce waste, and maintain the highest standards of product quality and safety. This role will support the implementation of the Lipton Management System (LMS), driving standardization, capability building, and loss elimination across the production floor. You will be instrumental in embedding a culture of operational discipline and continuous improvement in alignment with LMS principles

Key Responsibilities:

•Oversee day-to-day production operations to ensure efficient and safe manufacturing processes while meeting quality and output targets.

•Monitor and analyze production performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.

•Lead the deployment and sustainment of Lipton Management System (LMS) pillars, including Safety, Quality, Focused Improvement, and Autonomous Maintenance.

•Drive continuous improvement initiatives to eliminate losses, improve productivity, and reduce waste.

•Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards across the production line.

•Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Quality Assurance, Maintenance, Planning, and Engineering to resolve issues and optimize processes.

•Support the training and capability building of line operators and technicians in alignment with LMS standards.

•Contribute to new product introductions, equipment commissioning, and process validation as required.

•Maintain accurate documentation of production data, process deviations, and improvement activities.

•Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous learning on the shop floor.

Qualifications:

•Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering (or a related field).

•3–5 years of relevant experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or FMCG environment, preferably within the food or beverage industry.

•Solid understanding of manufacturing operations, equipment, and production processes.

•Practical experience in implementing continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., TPM, Lean, Six Sigma).

•Familiarity with quality, safety, and environmental standards (e.g., ISO, HACCP, GMP).

•Hands-on experience with production KPIs, root cause analysis, and problem-solving tools (e.g., 5 Why, Fishbone, FMEA).

•Working knowledge of manufacturing management systems; experience with the Lipton Management System (LMS) or similar frameworks is a plus.

•Strong communication and team collaboration skills with the ability to engage cross-functional stakeholders.

•Proficiency in MS Office; experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) is an advantage.

•Willingness to work in a factory-based role with on-shift presence when required.
