Your role:

As an AI Engineer at LIPTON Teas and Infusions, you will build and improve production-grade AI agents and AI applications for business use cases across our Data & AI landscape. You will work with Microsoft Azure, Databricks, and agentic frameworks to create robust workflows, retrieval solutions, and user-facing interfaces that help the business adopt AI in a practical and scalable way. You will be expected to contribute independently, while also helping shape engineering quality, reusable patterns, and team knowledge.

Your key responsibilities:

• Build and maintain AI agents using Python and frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, Microsoft Foundry tooling, or similar technologies.
• Develop integrations with enterprise systems, APIs, and document-processing workflows.
• Design and implement RAG-style solutions using Azure AI Search, Databricks, and related retrieval patterns.
• Build and maintain APIs and applications for testing, evaluation, and chat-based interaction.
• Contribute to deployment, observability, and CI/CD patterns for AI solutions in Azure and Databricks.
• Work in Scrum with business stakeholders and technical colleagues in a multi-disciplinary team to clarify requirements and convert them into working solutions.
• Improve reliability, maintainability, and reusability of agent implementations.
• Support knowledge sharing and contribute to the engineering maturity of the team.

What we are looking for:

• 2-4 years of experience in software engineering, AI engineering, machine learning engineering, or a similar role.
• At minimum a bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, data science, or a related field.
• Strong experience in Python.
• Solid experience with Azure and Databricks.
• Good working knowledge of PySpark, SQL, Git, and GitHub Actions.
• Experience with agent frameworks and LLM-based workflows.
• Good understanding of RAG concepts and practical retrieval implementations.
• Experience building APIs or applications, preferably with FastAPI and modern web technologies.
• Comfortable using agentic engineering tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, Codex, or Cursor.
• Experience working in Scrum and in multi-disciplinary teams, with a clear interest in learning from others and sharing knowledge.
• Experience with Copilot Studio, MCPs, MLflow, observability, or container-based deployments will be a bonus.
