Director of Financial Reporting
The Opportunity
We are hiring a Director of Financial Reporting to join Lipton Teas & Infusions, based in Amsterdam.
This is a senior leadership role within Group Finance, responsible for ensuring our global financial reporting is accurate, timely, and fully compliant with IFRS. You will lead the Group Financial Reporting agenda across a complex international business, helping to strengthen controls, improve reporting processes, and provide confidence in the financial information used by senior leaders, investors, and key stakeholders.
Working closely with the Group Controller, CFO, Audit Committee, external auditors, and finance teams around the world, you will play a central role in how we report and govern the financial performance of Lipton Teas & Infusions.

What You Will Lead
Group Financial Reporting & Consolidation
- Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual group consolidation process across all legal entities
- Ensure accurate and timely IFRS-compliant consolidated financial statements and disclosures
- Maintain high standards of reporting quality, consistency, and governance across the organisation
- Provide financial reporting insights that support effective decision making and stakeholder confidence
IFRS Compliance & Accounting Policy
- Ensure full compliance with IFRS and Group accounting policies across all markets
- Provide technical accounting guidance on complex transactions and reporting matters
- Develop, maintain, and communicate Group accounting policies
- Oversee statutory reporting requirements across multiple jurisdictions
External Audit & Controls
- Lead the Group external audit process and manage relationships with external auditors
- Drive a consistent and efficient audit approach across all markets
- Strengthen financial control frameworks and reporting governance
- Ensure robust internal controls support financial reporting accuracy and compliance
Reporting Strategy & Continuous Improvement
- Define and implement the global financial reporting strategy
- Drive standardisation and optimisation of Record-to-Report processes
- Champion automation and process improvements that enhance quality, efficiency, and control
- Build scalable reporting capabilities that support future business growth
Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Lead and develop teams across Financial Reporting, Consolidation, and Sustainability Reporting
- Foster a high-performance culture built on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
- Partner closely with Tax, Treasury, FP&A, GBS, IT, and local finance teams
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior finance leaders and executive stakeholders

What You Bring
- Around 15 years of progressive finance experience with significant exposure to financial reporting and controllership
- Deep knowledge of IFRS and multinational financial reporting requirements
- Experience leading consolidated reporting within a complex international organisation
- Strong understanding of statutory reporting, audit, governance, and financial controls
- Proven leadership experience, including managing and developing senior finance professionals
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
- A collaborative and pragmatic leadership style with a strong ownership mindset
- High personal integrity and a passion for continuous improvement
Nice To Have
- Big Four audit or advisory experience
- FMCG or consumer goods experience
- Exposure to private equity-backed organisations
- Experience with sustainability reporting or non-financial reporting frameworks
Ways of Working
This role is based in Amsterdam and operates on a hybrid working model.
The position has a global remit and requires regular interaction with finance teams and stakeholders across multiple regions. International travel of approximately 25% is expected.
What We Offer
- Base salary of €130,000 - €160,000, depending on experience
- Annual bonus opportunity of up to 25%
