Your role:

We are looking for a motivated Junior Databricks Applications Developer to join our team and help build data-driven applications within the Databricks ecosystem. In this role, you will work with modern technologies, including Node.js, to develop applications that make data accessible and actionable for business users.

This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career to gain hands-on experience with data platforms, backend development, and cloud technologies.

Your key responsibilities:

• Support the development of data-driven applications within Databricks Apps
• Assist in building and maintaining backend services
• Work with Databricks SQL and datasets to retrieve and process data
• Collaborate with senior developers, data engineers, and analysts
• Help optimize queries and application performance
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Participate in testing, debugging, and troubleshooting applications
• Learn and follow best practices in security, data access, and development workflows

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 1-3 years of experience in software development or data-related roles
• Basic knowledge of Node.js (Express or similar frameworks)
• Understanding of JavaScript fundamentals
• Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases
• Familiarity with Git or version control systems
• Strong willingness to learn and grow
