Who we are and what we do:
LIPTON Teas & Infusions is the world’s leading tea business, home to iconic, purpose‑driven brands like Lipton, Pukka, Tazo, T2, Lyons and PG Tips.
We craft great teas for every occasion, to bring joy and inspire a healthier lifestyle. Guided by our values of people first, ownership, passion for excellence, and consumer and customer centricity, we create long‑term value for our people, trade partners, suppliers, and the communities where we operate.
If you’re a diverse thinker who takes personal ownership to connect ideas and make impactful things happen, someone who shares our values around humanity and courage and someone who enjoys a good cup of tea (on the house!), then we could be a good match! 🍃✨
Your role:
LIPTON Teas & Infusions produces a significant part of its US volume with external contract manufacturers (copackers). Every production run and outbound shipment from these partners must be accurately recorded in SAP before stock can be deployed to distribution centres and supplier invoices can be paid.
As Logistics Specialist, you will own these SAP inventory transactions end to end, recording finished goods production and outbound shipments accurately and on time.
Your work is an important gate for downstream deployment, transport and invoicing. You’ll work closely with our copackers and North American Supply Chain teams, while also supporting process improvements and the future integration of copackers into planning systems.
This role offers hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA, North American supply chain operations and process improvement projects.
Your key responsibilities:
- Post finished goods production to the correct purchase orders in SAP once products are released by Quality.
- Record quantities, batch codes and expiry dates accurately and ensure required Quality approvals are in place.
- Process outbound shipments and post goods issue in SAP, including unit-of-measure corrections, batch splits and picking quantities.
- Ensure stock transfer orders, shipping documentation and SAP postings are aligned.
- Maintain accurate inventory for each copacker site and investigate and correct discrepancies.
- Review copacker invoices, resolve rejections and variances, and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Act as the daily operational contact for copackers, following up on missing releases, shipment information and documentation.
- Work closely with Deployment, Transportation, Supply Planning, Quality, Procurement and Finance to keep shipments on schedule.
- Escalate recurring discrepancies and maintain standard operating procedures for the different copacker operating models.
- Support process automation and the planned integration of copackers into planning systems.
What we are looking for:
You’re someone who combines accuracy and ownership with proactive communication and feels comfortable working in a fast-paced, transactional environment.
You’ll bring:
- High attention to detail and the ability to handle high transaction volumes under time pressure.
- Fluent English, both written and spoken, and confidence working with US and Canadian colleagues and suppliers.
- Availability to work a shifted schedule overlapping with US Eastern Time.
- Experience in logistics or supply chain operations.
- Ideally, hands-on SAP experience with inventory transactions such as goods receipt, outbound deliveries, post goods issue, batch management and stock transfer orders.
- Knowledge of order-to-cash and procure-to-pay processes, three-way matching and invoice handling would be an advantage.
- Experience working with contract manufacturers or copackers in FMCG or food and beverage would be a plus.
- Good Excel skills; experience with Power BI, SAP S/4HANA, SAP Transportation Management or planning tools such as Kinaxis is an advantage.
- A proactive mindset: you follow up on missing information, prioritise time-critical issues and look for ways to simplify manual processes.
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to build reliable working relationships across teams and time zones.
What’s in it for you:
As part of the Katowice HUB, you’ll join a modern, collaborative environment designed to help you thrive—professionally and personally. Our benefits package includes:
- Private medical care and employer‑paid life insurance
- Monthly MyBenefit cafeteria points and holiday reimbursement
- Access to discounted company products
- Employee referral rewards up to 3,000 PLN
- Structured onboarding and continuous learning opportunities
- Cross‑functional collaboration with global teams
- Regular HUB events, recognition programs, and a strong culture of teamwork
