Your role:
As the Sales Insights and Category Manager, you will combine category management and sales insights expertise to drive category growth and increase LIPTON Teas and Infusions’ market share across retailers and channels. Serving as the internal expert on these customers, you will integrate multiple data sources to assess business performance, identify growth opportunities, and shape retailer-relevant brand, innovation, assortment, pricing, promotion, and merchandising strategies. You will partner closely with Sales, Marketing, and other cross-functional teams to translate insights into actionable recommendations and compelling selling stories that influence retailer decision-making. Through this work, you will deliver triple-win solutions that create sustainable growth for LIPTON Teas and Infusions and its retail partners while improving the value and experience delivered to consumers.
Your key responsibilities:
- Lead retailer and channel category strategies: Develop and activate insight-led strategies across assortment, pricing, promotion, distribution, merchandising, and shopper experience to drive sustainable growth for retailers, LIPTON Teas and Infusions, and consumers.
- Deliver performance insights and strategic analysis: Integrate syndicated, retailer, loyalty, consumer, and shopper data to monitor performance, conduct retailer deep dives, identify opportunities and risks, and translate findings into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Serve as the internal retailer expert: Partner with Sales, Marketing, Consumer Insights, Finance, Supply Chain, and Leadership to embed retailer, shopper, and category needs into brand plans, customer strategies, and priority growth initiatives.
- Shape retailer-relevant innovation: Advise Marketing and Innovation teams on category needs, shopper demand, retailer strategies, assortment roles, and shelving considerations to strengthen the relevance and commercial potential of future innovation.
- Create compelling selling stories: Translate complex insights into concise, visually engaging narratives and materials for use in line reviews, joint business planning, customer meetings, and internal leadership updates.
- Influence retailer decision-making: Build consultative relationships with retail partners and internal customer teams, providing an objective category perspective that strengthens LIPTON Teas and Infusions’ position as a trusted growth partner.

What we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in category management and/or data analytics, preferably within the consumer-packaged goods industry.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (Nielsen, IRI, Scintilla, Numerator etc.) and Excel.
- Space management and assortment tool experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
