Your Role

 

The Senior FP&A Analyst will play a key role in supporting financial planning, forecasting, performance management, and business decision-making. This role will partner closely with Finance, Commercial, Supply Chain, Marketing, and other cross-functional stakeholders to provide high-quality financial insights, challenge assumptions, identify risks and opportunities, and support delivery of business objectives.

 

Your Key Responsibilities

 

Financial Planning, Forecasting and Reporting

  • Support monthly forecast, quarterly outlook, annual budget, and long-range planning cycles.
  • Analyse actual performance versus budget, forecast, and prior year, clearly explaining key drivers of variance.
  • Maintain financial planning models and ensure accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of financial submissions.
  • Support month-end closing analysis, accrual review, and reporting packs where required.

Performance Management and Business Insights

  • Provide timely, actionable insights on sales, gross margin, operating expenses, cash, working capital, and other key business metrics.
  • Identify risks and opportunities and support the development of mitigation or acceleration actions.
  • Build and enhance reporting tools, dashboards, and self-service analytics to improve visibility and decision-making.
  • Translate complex data into clear business narratives for senior stakeholders.

Business Partnering

  • Partner with commercial and functional teams to understand business drivers and provide financial guidance.
  • Support stakeholder discussions by challenging assumptions and ensuring decisions are grounded in robust financial analysis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve forecast accuracy, strengthen financial discipline, and drive value creation.
  • Support preparation of materials for business reviews, leadership meetings, and decision-making forums.

Process Improvement and Governance

  • Drive continuous improvement in planning, reporting, and performance management processes.
  • Improve data quality, automation, and standardization across FP&A deliverables.
  • Ensure compliance with internal finance processes, controls, and reporting timelines.
  • Support finance transformation initiatives, system enhancements, and ad hoc projects as required.

 

Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 4–6 years of relevant experience in FP&A, commercial finance, business controlling, or financial analysis; FMCG or consumer goods experience is preferred.
  • Strong financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and management reporting capability.
  • Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills; SAP, S/4HANA, or other planning/reporting tools are preferred. Knowing Power BI will be a plus.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to connect financial data to business performance and strategic priorities.
  • High attention to detail, strong ownership, and ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Fluent English communication skills; additional regional language capability is an advantage.
  • Willing to travel as and when required.
