Your role:

This role sits within the Indirect Procurement team and leads the development and delivery of logistics sourcing strategies across Europe. Reporting to the Head of Logistics Procurement, the Senior Logistics Procurement Manager partners with regional supply chain stakeholders to drive value, supplier performance, risk mitigation, and alignment with global category strategies.

The role manages a significant logistics portfolio across transportation, warehousing, and related services, working cross-functionally to deliver impact through strategic sourcing, supplier management, and transformation initiatives.

 

Your key responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver European logistics sourcing strategies aligned with global priorities.
  • Lead end-to-end sourcing projects, including tenders, negotiations, and contract implementation.
  • Manage strategic logistics suppliers, driving performance, governance, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Act as a procurement partner to regional logistics and supply chain stakeholders.
  • Deliver cost savings and value creation using market intelligence, benchmarking, and analytics.
  • Support resilience, risk mitigation, sustainability initiatives, and logistics transformation programs, while ensuring procurement compliance and KPI reporting.

External:

Logistics service providers, carriers, warehousing partners, freight forwarders, and industry bodies

 

What we are looking for:

What you bring:

  • Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field
  • 6–8 years’ procurement experience, ideally within logistics or supply chain categories
  • Strong experience in strategic sourcing, supplier management, and contract governance
  • Proven ability to lead complex negotiations and sourcing projects end-to-end
  • Solid commercial and analytical capability, including cost modelling, benchmarking, and reporting
  • Strong understanding of logistics cost drivers and market dynamics

How you work:

  • Confident stakeholder manager, able to influence senior partners across a regional or international environment
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate plans into execution
  • Strong project and change management skills
  • Comfortable working independently in a global, matrix organisation
  • Fluent in English

Nice to have:

  • Experience across transportation, warehousing, ocean freight, or logistics procurement
  • Exposure to logistics transformation, network optimisation, or operating model changes
  • Professional procurement qualification (e.g. CIPS, NEVI, ISM)
