Your role:

The Supply Chain Finance Business Partner is the trusted finance partner for the UKI and European supply chain. The role converts COGS, inventory and cash data into clear insight, challenges performance and drives working-capital, savings and cash delivery across markets, sourcing units and procurement.

 

Your key responsibilities:

Performance, COGS and forecasting

  • Lead COGS deep dives ahead of month-end close, spotting and resolving issues before WD3.
  • Deliver market, brand and SKU-level variance analysis with clear driver commentary.
  • Challenge under / over-recovery, tea-blend price movements, volume-mix impacts and forecast assumptions.
  • Prepare insight and storyline for ESCLT and UKI / Europe performance reviews.

Inventory, cash, waste and logistics

  • Lead weekly and monthly inventory reviews with Supply Chain, highlighting risks and forecast impact.
  • Partner on DIO, inventory value and cash-improvement opportunities across the region.
  • Validate business-waste forecasts and own logistics forecast calculations with market logistics leads.

Savings, PPV, transfer pricing and planning

  • Review and challenge savings / VCP delivery with sourcing units and procurement, allocating benefits to the right brands, products and countries.
  • Run PPV reviews and drive corrective action with sourcing units, procurement and GBS.
  • Manage quarterly and ad-hoc transfer-price reviews, including logistics and business-waste driver updates.
  • Own regional business planning, including bottom-up cost build and interpretation of savings and inflation by market.

Business partnering and simplification

  • Act as finance partner to Supply Chain, Procurement and market teams, including strategic business cases impacting Supply Chain.
  • Work with GBS to automate and standardise routine reporting, journals and data extraction, moving recurring analysis into Power BI.

 

Key stakeholders

 

  • Head of Supply Chain Finance; Global Supply Chain Finance team; UKI / Europe FP&A and Procurement Finance.
  • Market Sales Organisations for UKI and Europe, sourcing units, factory controllers and Supply Chain leadership / market leads.
  • GBS as transactional processing and data-extraction partner; Sales & Marketing for product redesign costing requests.

 

What we are looking for:

Experience and qualifications 

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related discipline; CIMA / ACCA / ACA or local equivalent preferred. 
  • Solid finance experience in FMCG or manufacturing supply-chain environments. 
  • Strong grounding in COGS, standard costing, inventory, logistics, business waste and savings / VCP. 
  • Proven business partnering with operational and commercial stakeholders; experience in a GBS / shared-service model is a plus. 

Skills and style 

  • Advanced Excel, strong Power BI and ERP / SAP proficiency. 
  • Analytical rigour, with the ability to turn complex data into practical insight and action. 
  • Confident communicator and constructive challenger across cultures, functions and seniority. 
  • Self-starter who is comfortable with ambiguity, automation and change.
