We are seeking a proactive Electrical Maintenance & Automation Engineer with 1–3 years of experience in industrial manufacturing environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Siemens and Allen-Bradley PLC systems, a strong understanding of maintenance excellence practices, and the ability to drive equipment reliability through effective maintenance strategies, spare parts management, and continuous improvement initiatives.

The role requires a results-oriented engineer capable of achieving maintenance KPIs, reducing downtime, improving asset performance, and leading energy management initiatives across the plant.


Key Responsibilities

  • Execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities on production and utility equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical, instrumentation, and automation failures to minimize downtime.
  • Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for major breakdowns and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and improve maintenance plans to increase equipment reliability and availability.
  • Troubleshoot, maintain, and modify PLC programs and control systems.
  • Support and maintain Siemens PLC platforms (TIA Portal) and Allen-Bradley PLCs (CompactLogix, ControlLogix, Studio 5000).
  • Diagnose issues related to HMI, SCADA, industrial networks, VFDs, sensors, and field instrumentation.
  • Monitor, analyze, and improve maintenance KPIs including OEE, MTBF, MTTR, PM Compliance, and Equipment Availability.
  • Utilize CMMS systems for work order management, preventive maintenance planning, and asset history tracking.
  • Develop and maintain critical spare parts strategies for production and utility equipment.
  • Identify critical assets and ensure proper spare parts availability to support a zero-unplanned-downtime approach.
  • Lead the Energy Management Pillar and identify opportunities for energy reduction and sustainability improvements.
  • Participate in Lean Manufacturing, TPM, and Continuous Improvement projects.
