Role Purpose
The SCF Partner is responsible for end-to-end cost controlling, inventory governance, and operational finance activities for Pakistan market. The role ensures accurate costing, inventory reporting, CAPEX governance, month-end cost closing, and compliance with internal and local requirements.
In addition to core controlling responsibilities, the position plays a strategic role in supporting sourcing decisions, import/export flows, logistics network optimization, and supply chain transformation initiatives to improve service, resilience, and profitability.
This role provides strong business partnering support to the Global Supply Chain Finance Business Partner and acts as a key finance advisor to factory, procurement, logistics, Finance and supply chain leadership, driving both operational excellence and long term value creation.
Key Responsibilities
1. COGS Control
- Full ownership on COGS line items.
- Perform costing analysis.
- Review and validate forecast and BP costing.
- Share Transfer Pricing (TP) data with relevant stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and documentation of all product costing activities.
- Be on top of inflation, savings, one offs… for all COGS line items: Material, packaging, production and logistics
2. Inventory & Business Waste
- Drive cash and inventory reduction initiatives, working closely with Finance and Supply Chain teams to identify opportunities, track actions, and deliver agreed reduction targets.
- Monitor Business Waste (BW) performance, analyse key drivers and variances, and work with Supply Chain teams to identify and drive corrective actions.
- Support inventory governance and controls in collaboration with Finance controller and supply chain teams.
3. Capital Expenditure (CAPEX)
- Review and submit CAPEX forecasts in line with financial timelines.
- Ensure compliance with internal and external CAPEX policies and accounting standards.
4. Month-End Closing and controls
- Perform factory, logistics, Inbound cost…. accruals and reclassifications.
- Make sure that SC conduct production order checks and resolve issues.
- Support timely and accurate month-end close activities.
- Support all internal controls and audit for SCF part
5. Factory Controlling & Governance
- Provide independent oversight of factory procurement and expenditures, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and Delegation of Authority (DoA).
- Review and challenge significant spending, including services, maintenance, spares, materials, CAPEX, and contractors, ensuring value, appropriate governance, and adherence to controls.
- Identify, escalate, and follow up on policy deviations, control gaps, audit findings, and non-compliance through resolution.
6. Business Partnering & Project Support
- Lead the financial evaluation of strategic business cases and investment proposals, challenging assumptions, assessing value creation and risks, and providing recommendations to support senior management decision-making
