Global Lipton Brand Manager - Portfolio & NPD
The Opportunity
We are hiring a Global Lipton Brand Manager - Portfolio & NPD to join the Global Lipton Brand team at Lipton Teas & Infusions, based in Amsterdam.
This role sits at the heart of the Lipton portfolio and innovation agenda. You will support the Global Lipton Brand Director and wider team in shaping and executing the global portfolio and innovation strategy, with a strong focus on building the Lipton portfolio of the future.
Working closely with markets, R&D, commercial teams, creative partners, packaging teams, and external agencies, you will help translate strategy into clear innovation platforms, scalable product propositions, and practical launch materials that enable consistent execution across geographies.
This is a hands-on global brand role with strong cross-functional exposure, designed for someone who enjoys combining strategic thinking with operational delivery, and who is excited by the opportunity to help grow one of the world’s most iconic tea brands.
What You Will Lead
Portfolio Strategy and Innovation Development
- Contribute to shaping the Lipton portfolio in partnership with the Global Lipton Brand Director and cross-functional teams across R&D, commercial, and markets
- Help translate portfolio strategy into clear innovation platforms, propositions, and executional guidelines
- Work with markets to ensure innovation platforms are adapted effectively across different geographies
- Support the development of portfolio initiatives that strengthen category growth and future-fit brand relevance
Packaging, Artwork and Governance
- Collaborate with the Lipton Brand Director and Lipton Equity Manager on packaging, artwork, and adaptations for innovation launches
- Coordinate packaging and artwork workflows across agencies and internal stakeholders
- Help ensure strong governance, consistency, and quality across portfolio and innovation assets
- Manage key operational details to support timely and effective delivery across markets
Toolkit Development and Market Enablement
- Develop and maintain global innovation toolkits, playbooks, launch materials, and market guidance
- Enable markets with clear assets and practical tools to execute portfolio and innovation initiatives consistently
- Gather feedback from markets and support continuous improvement of materials, processes, and launch support
- Translate global brand and portfolio direction into materials that are easy for markets to activate
Cross-functional and Agency Management
- Manage day-to-day collaboration with creative, packaging, production, and external agency partners
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to keep projects moving, aligned, and delivered to a high standard
- Coordinate across global and local teams to support joined-up execution
- Bring structure, clarity, and momentum to multi-stakeholder innovation and portfolio projects
Performance and Execution Support
- Support tracking of innovation performance and portfolio initiatives
- Help identify opportunities for improvement across launches, toolkits, and market execution
- Contribute to performance reviews and internal reporting related to innovation and portfolio development
- Use insight, feedback, and market learning to strengthen future portfolio activity

What You Bring
- 8+ years of experience in marketing, portfolio management, innovation, or related roles within FMCG or CPG environments
- Experience working with global or multi-market brands
- Strong experience in innovation development, packaging, and portfolio management
- Ability to operate both strategically and operationally, contributing to portfolio strategy while managing execution
- Strong understanding of how portfolio and innovation initiatives translate into commercial outcomes
- Experience supporting innovation launches, renovation programmes, or product initiatives
- Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent collaboration skills across commercial, category, sales, R&D, agencies, and market teams
Nice to Have
- Experience in food, beverage, or broader consumer goods categories
- Exposure to future food and beverage trends, consumer shifts, and emerging category opportunities
- Experience working with creative, packaging, production, and artwork agency partners
- Experience building global toolkits, launch playbooks, or market enablement materials
- Strong curiosity for how brands can stretch, renovate, and grow through innovation
Ways of Working
This role is based in Amsterdam. To support onboarding, stakeholder relationships, and team integration, a minimum of three to four days per week in the office is expected during the first six months. Longer-term flexibility will be discussed once the role is fully embedded.
